Assorted Cards

When I found this vintage postcard image on Pinterest I knew that I had to use it in a card. We have several friends who are Dutch, so I know just who will be receiving some happy snail mail in the near future!

Had fun making a Christmas card to enter in a few challenges. Fussy-cut a Santa from the patterned background paper, to mount on a sugar cookie with sprinkles (upcycled from a magazine photo) so that he could take center stage. The fun sentiment tag adds the final touch!

I enjoy making cards for kids, so am glad I stumbled upon a blogger that allows me to share some joy through my art. Once again, used the free digi from paulaposts.blogspot.com/2013/06/gallery-idol-2013-round-2-defining-dad.html, this tiime  adding a few colorful alphabet stickers to make a card that should bring a smile to a child or young teens face!
